I usually go with ESET or Kaspersky, though I'm starting to lean away from Kaspersky after a couple people I know contracted malware while using it (not computer-savvy people who know how to stay malware-free).
Obviously common sense is your best defense, but that isn't always a possibility with a shared computer.
