I reserved mine under contract but ended up purchasing outright.
When I got there same thing happened to me, I was asked "contract or outright". I explained I reserved under contract but might purchase outright due to ineligibility. She said okay and paired me with an associate. He then asked me again and started telling me I had to buy out my contract. So I said I would just purchase it outright. At that point he said, "yeah you could do that too, that's probably better, easier too".
This was at the Pacific Centre location, last Friday during my 6-7pm time slot.
