An update on the situation..
B had a BBQ the other night, and of course, there she was again.
She and I started talking, caught up a bit, and to my surprise, she asked me to get a cup of coffee sometime. I said, "I'd love to, but.. do you think this is a good idea?" She replied, "We'll see." We traded numbers.
B was working the grill and didn't notice any of this, but later on I told him about what's going on, and if he's at all uncomfortable with any of this, just say the word and I'll back right off.
He replied, "I can't say I didn't see that coming. I'd rather you not, but I mean, I trust you guys enough to make your own decisions."
She and I have been texting back and forth and set a date. So far things with B seem to be going alright, but there's sort of been an elephant in the room everytime we talk now, which is what I was afraid of. I'm sure he doesn't want it to be any more or less awkward than I do, but I guess at this point, what's done is done, and we'll see how things go. No turning back from here..
