r u using an oem charger or aftermarket charger?

Feel free to speculate but that's what it looked like. I realize water seems ridiculous and there's no water for my phone to sweat but that's the way it went down. I actually thought it was battery acid at first. Always using OEM charger and the tip had burn marks on it. I took the phone and charger to an Apple Genius that immediately said he will order me a new phone (none in stock atm). The water indicator was still white - if you are curious where its located its easily visible in the slot when you take your SIM out. By the way my phone was out of warranty for like 2 years so this is a huge score for me.
point is keep an eye on your phones and know this is happening
