Despite what people think, Skytrain is one of the most reliable rapid transit systems in North America. The STM (Montreal) breaks down every day, TTC is a joke and has been permanently sabotaged by Rob (soon to be Doug) Ford's antics. Seattle is massively cutting bus service due to lack of funds. Considering how large of an area Translink covers, including roads and bridges, we are spoiled*. Going to school via Skytrain is way better than sitting in choking traffic and getting stressed out.
(*Unless you live in Maple Ridge or Langley, then I sympathize)
