VTI - the price is actually listed as USD on the stock exchange - I just listed my "buy prices" as reflected on my bank statement (which is in CAD). Dividends are paid in USD (tip2: if you are purchasing in a non-registered account you'll get charged foreign withholding taxes, this can be avoided in RRSP only .. not TFSA)

If you want the CAD equivalent, you can purchase this.. it's exactly the same fund as VTI, except you can purchase it in CAD dollars on the exchange without bank foreign exchange fees:

The CAD listed symbol charges a slightly higher MER, and withholding taxes are kind of embedded into the fund when they distribute their dividends.
