That's how it is in Asia, we're Canadian so we're used to it.
I remember a few years ago I was walking around HK/Taiwan in May and it was freakin' hot and humid. Mid 20+ degrees easily.
I was wearing a sleeveless and shorts. In HK there was women wearing full length fur coats and I also saw a guy walking around in the Taiwan night market in a North Face bomber.

The opposite also applies though. My gf is Taiwanese so when we went to Asia in August I was fucking cooking in the heat. I had to run into every store that had AC, and she's all like "oh this is nice and warm"
