Depends on the person. For someone who is really into food, has endless amounts of money, and doesn't have a problem with the pretentiousness of outdated fine dining, yes. For someone like myself, who loves food, has the family income of a chef and a nurse, and absolutely loathes all that fine dining stands for, definitely not. I still have yet to find a restaurant I'd recommend over la Quercia when it comes to a "special occasion" kind of dinner.
