some numbers being thrown around on the old internets:

Current sponsor numbers:

UFC champions, contenders and other fighters speak out on sponsorship

Between $150,000 and $75,000 per year: A top contender in the UFC, top 10 in his/her division and reasonably marketable.

Up to $100,000 per year: The very top fighters in organizations outside of the UFC, if they have good yearly sponsors.

$15,000-$10,000 per fight: Former UFC fighters with big names fighting outside of the UFC.

$15,000-$10,000 per fight: Mid-level UFC fighters.

Up to $5,000 per fight: UFC fighters on Facebook.

Gareth Davis reports UFC-Reebok deal = $70 mil. Let's do some math. IF that's true, it's worth $11.7 mill a year. Divided by 45 events...

....that's about $260k in sponsor money per event. If 12 fights on a card, that's $21,604 per fight or $10,802 per fighter on average.

Again, this is just rough math. No idea how any of this is distributed, but it's worth thinking about: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/oth...ing-firms.html

$70 mill over 6 years = $11.6mil/year

....that's about $260k in sponsor money per event. If 12 fights on a card, that's $21,604 per fight or $10,802 per fighter on average.

but
its on a teir system factoring in the top 15 in the rankings. so no one really knows how its all going to fall together yet.
