Yes I've visited Malaysia and Singapore. Visiting and living are on different ends of the spectrum. I don't care about the drug policy of I'm just passing through. Would I live there? Nope.
Thailand is rated the most dangerous tourist destination in the world. Please show me your facts of the stats you just quoted of Nicaragua having 20 times more murders. Even if it was true, were the murders against foreigners or locals?
