There are three options:

Glencairn Crystal Whiskey glasses are the first. They have a large bowl for swirling and a narrow mouth so all the aromas are directed to your nose.

A wide mouth glass which allows for easy swirling, adding ice and toning down the aromas of stronger whiskey/bourbon. Plenty of varieties and shapes are available, if you stick to something simple like pictured it is timeless. Buy round ones, swirling in square glasses doesn't work.

A 1.5-2.0 Ounce heavy bottom shot glass. Simple in design, and used more in movies and TV shows then any serious bourbon drinker I know. But hey, if you want that Boyd Crowder look and feel, you drink from one of these.

In each design you can find a million varieties in a million different places in vancouver.
