For me, #3 is an absolute deal breaker, as I hate the gaming mouse's high resolution. I can't get any fine / precision movement that I need, so having one just screws me up. On the other hand, I can totally picture someone else benefiting from the minimal amount of movement from the high res mouse, esp in a gaming situation where fast reaction time is probably quite important.

Any of the ones I've used have completely customizable DPI, usually at least 3 settings you can set yourself and on some mice toggle between on the fly. I like being able to fly all over the screen for normal stuff and then have it make very controlled movements only when I need it, all at the press of a little button.
