Never understood this, people hate on the shows like importfest and DTP cause they say its the same cars that show up year after year.
Well its the exact same cars that show up to RS summer meet every year. In fact it's the exact same owners that go to each event (more or less). The number of modded cars in Vancouver is relatively few, (this ain't SOCAL), so its not like some influx of new vehicles just arrives en masse for a particular show.
Like someone said most people keep cars for longer than a year, the days of sponsors building cars for shows and canning them the next season is over. So cars develop over a period of many years.
There are exceptions to the rule, but i'm talking as a generality.
EDIT: BTW not saying you were hating bro, just seen that particular comment before.
I get it this is RS, and we love the RS spring and summer meets, nothing wrong with that. They are after all Vancouvers two greatest meets year after year. But shows are different than meets.
