I wouldn't even think twice about getting into these kinds of friendships or relationships. Drugs ruin families. Why else are there so many bums and homeless people in downtown east side. I've done some volunteering in the past by handling out food to the less fortunate in downtown and have spoken to some of the guys down there. They aren't "bad" people, as they all have a story behind their lives. It's just that, they took a bad path and game over. Drugs, addictions, you name it. That's just my 2 cents.
