I got a steering wheel with an airbag for my MR2 sent to me from Hong Kong like 4 years ago no issues at all. I then sold it (decided not to install it) half a year ago to someone in the USA and shipped it to them again no issues... That said I didn't didn't get asked any questions and I didn't offer any information that I wasn't asked for. Ignorance is bliss?
In your situation I dont know what you're worried about, it's all on the seller if there are any problems. Just tell him to send it and be done. If for some reason it gets denied you get your money back.
