there was a drive-by in richmond yesterday

Richmond RCMP officers are investigating a drive-by shooting on Garden City Road Tuesday morning.
Acting Corporal Dennis Hwang said in a news released that no one was injured after shot were fired at a vehicle in the 8400-block of Garden City about 9:30 a.m.
He said a black sport-utility vehicle was seen leaving the area.
“At this point little is known about what occurred. Richmond RCMP serious crimes unit is on scene along with the Forensic Identification Unit gathering evidence,” he said. “At this time no suspect has been identified however this does not appear to be a random act.”
