It isn't which hotel you stay at, it's how much you spend on the room.

Seriously though if you are really going to do this, the hotel is only half the battle, there are plenty of nice hotels downtown, the guys above have nailed a lot of them. The difference is made by how much you are going to dish out on a room.

Don't know if the shangri la here in vancouver has it, but I stayed at the Shangri-La Suite at the Toronto hotel, and it was nice. I'm sure they have something similar here at the Vancouver shangri-la.

The bonus was that the room came with car service included which meant that I had first access to their Rolls Royce. Skiipi mentioned above that he could never use the house car at hotel vancouver, I never had that problem, used the shangri la car constantly while in toronto.
