Hey guys and gals, just another update. I'm still here
just the last few months have been super busy. The paramedics had to cut me out of my gloves and race suit back in June, so this calls for new gloves lol. Absolutely love these, they are the Dainese Full Metal RS. It was much different than my last pair which had free floating impact absorbing foam/kevlar suspended on top of the glove. These Dainese gloves instead have the protection pieces built INTO the glove, the last pair of gloves I had felt like I was wearing nothing at all (Ned Flanders reference for teh lulz).
This pair of gloves took a while to get used to though, they were super stiff until after I broke them in and let me tell ya, having a weak wrist youre trying to rehabilitate doesnt help.
Decided to take the bike out for a quick spin to remedy my winter blues last week. Also decided I should stop procrastinating and put fuel stabilizer in it lmao (last time I rode it was the end of October day before my insurance expired) but its only been 2 months ish.
In preparation for Spring 2015, decided to pick up some goodies. EBC sintered double h brakes pads! These provide a much more aggressive initial bite than your run of the mill stock pads (unless your bike comes equipped with OEM brembos).
Also finally picked up a Pitbull rear stand as I included my old stand with the sale of my previous bike. I was going to buy one after the first track day last year, but wound up binning the bike so it wasn't a priority after that.
Lastly some Motul Moto Wash, saw this sitting on the shelf at work. Hell of $14 why the hell not give it a try. I haven't washed my bike since, well end of Summer LOL.
