And the reason everyone knows Gyoza Bar is overhyped and not very good is because they invited local food bloggers to eat their food and everyone was honest about how it was just "Meh." for 50% more than what you'd pay elsewhere for better ramen. Go ahead and read some of the posts of that media night.
Gyoza Bar was talked about because it's from the same group that does Minami and Miku, which are generally regarded as two of the best Japanese restaurants in town. It isn't that Gyoza Bar is bad...it's just that more was expected for the reputation and price. Instead, what people got was...mediocre.
I don't think it's 38% bad...there's worse out there but it should be much, much better.
