ARGON 18 RADON FRAME
This looks very similar to my stolen bike. Too bad I never wrote down the serial number.
There's damage on the seat tube that looks like it could've been caused by them trying to take out my U lock that I put there.
Is it worth checking this out or at least call the Richmond RCMP to see if they can do anything.
From the pics, I see the same stem, bars, pedals and the same 2 bottle cages that I had on my bike at the time it was stolen.
EDIT: Damn the guy changed his ad and removed the pics......getting kind suspicious because I emailed him asking for more pics of the frame.
I was digging through some old pics and looks like I was smart enough to take pics of the frame s/n. I don't know if he's going to reply to me since he seemed to have changed the ad
after I Emailed him originally asking about the frame.
Would appreciate it if some of you guys troll the guy for a contact number.
I called the RCMP and they said if I can arrange a meeting, they'll see if an officer can go with me to check it out.

They cut the lock into my storage locker, cut the cheap wire lock I had on the bike.
I had a red Abus U-mini 40 lock on it as well, locking the seat tube and rear wheel.
No trace of my Abus lock so it's probably still locked on the bike. I guess they'll strip it for parts. |
