Whichever you pick, I'd say reliability should be one of the top priorities. You don't want the missus broken down somewhere with two young kids and you want something you can get ~12-18 years out of so you only have to buy one van in your lifetime. The used market for vans tends to be crap, back in the day some of my friends parents bought their second vans a few years before they no longer needed a van anymore and now they're still driving these things after their kids have moved out since it's not worth anything to sell.

Of course you want leather. Ideally you want leather and bedliner instead of carpet so you can just open the sliding doors and hose it down when a kid pukes in it.

That should also make maintenance a touch cheaper since the parts are more in demand.
