The ventilation is going to be much more aggressive on the x12 compared to your 1100. The wind noise and lack of room for speakers is a necessary compromise when you start getting into flagship race helmets
. This is Shoei's top of the line designed to be used primarily for one thing.
I love the Daijiro Kato design though, it was recently re-released as a commemoration.
