But lose the plate on the dash. You'll still get a ticket with it there, not to mention a lecture on how it's not safe, it'll cut your head off in an accident, blah blah. Plus it looks lame lol. Just toss it on the floor in the back. If you get pinched for not having it, just say someone backed into it, and you're waiting to pick up replacement parts to mount it back on.
Moar pics of dat Buick oh and what did you buy at the Can Tire?

Believe me, I'm well aware. Long story short...
I've never been pulled over with the plate like that. With all the cops I pass, cops I travel behind, cops I encounter at road checks, I've never had a single issue with my front plate.
THEN
A friend told me about the fines for both plate violations. So I took the plate off and put it on the floor and drove for a week that way. I was pulled over twice. Luckily, both times the cops gave me warnings because I did have the plate mounts in a box in my trunk.
Went back to mounting the plate this way and never had a problem since then.
A friend of mine cut his plate down to only the numbers being visible and zap straps it his lower grill. Seems to work as he never had an issue either despite cutting his plate up lol
As for what I bought at Can Tire, just some carpet cleaner and detail wipes
