Anyone snap a spoke before, rebuild the wheel or just put in a new spoke and true it up?
Orrrr.... Any suggestions for budget wheelsets, or used ones? Looking for light, cheap and strong.... hahaha..... Ok i'll take two of those.
I'm about 185-190lbs, and i'm not very nice to my wheels either. Sometimes I like to think i'm on a mountain bike still.

I snapped a spoke before. Some dumb ass went head on into my lane on those two way bike paths causing me to swirve and nail the curb.
Anyways you can get a replacement spoke and have it trued at a shop or if you have the tools it takes like 10 min. Shop quoted me 30 bucks so I went to my buddy and he helped me for the price of a beer.
