I absolutely can't stand people who move to the city and complain about light and noise. Shut the fuck up and move to a house in the boonies then where your closest neighbor is 2km away and it's totally dark at night. It's not like you didn't know those types of things exist in Downtown, IMO every downtown core has its fair share of "disruptions" that any normal person can eventually tune out...
...personally my "nostalgia" is missing a Vancouver where people weren't so entitled and didn't bitch and moan about every little insignificant thing that pervades their illusions of a happy life
