Calling around is the only method. ICBC won't tell you which dealers have what. Some autoplan places will make a hold list (the one on 49th and Oak whos name I can't remember).
You will need to tie a plate to a car that is registered under your name. MK3 won't be for a while so youre gonna have to wait a while.
