Best example I've ever had of this was a Kelowna Rockets game probably 10 years back. We were down 2 goals with something like 5-10 minutes left and people start to leave. We score but since we're still down 1 more people keep leaving. The clock hits 1 minute left and about half the arena has left already. With less than a minute to go they tie it up so we're going to OT. A few minutes into OT we score and win the game. Everyone who left early must've felt pretty stupid the next day.
