Don't get me wrong, as a fan of Floyd's, he's got a piece of my heart cheering for him too. His persona is something I love, regardless of how the majority of people view him.
But Pacquiao is just hard to hate. His dumb fans can be annoying, yes, but Pacquiao as a figure is someone so iconic, he's hard not to like. I do hope the underdog comes out victorious, but this isn't a movie.

Agreed. This fight would be big to the boxing fans either way, but the fact you have mayweather whos accepted the villains roll and has people who dont even watch boxing hoping he'll lose alone makes the fight such a big draw. I find mayweather super entertaining to watch, which is why im also a fan. Boxing has always had the outspoken, cocky/confident champions like ali, tyson, roy jones etc that fans like myself love to watch, especially when they backup all the talking they do.and on the other side you have pacquiao who since had his spiritual conversion years ago is always preaching god and truly just seems to be a good overall humble person. its "good vs evil" gotta love it
