from my recollection, there weren't that many automatic wrx's out there for this vintage. so when the seller makes comments about manuals being rare i couldn't help but think :huh: ?

also, isn't the radio and climate control trim panels supposed to be silver?

and it takes a lot of neglect or salt to make a late-model subaru rust like that... i see rust in the engine bay as well. out of province?

also no mention if the timing belt/water pump/clutch has been replaced. there is potentially $1-2k in just this alone.

but having said the above, it has potential for a rally car build...
