Thanks, that's all I really needed to know. Like I said, this is my first time getting work done at a shop where I was able to get up close and watch (and time) it. In the past, I've always just taken my car to the dealership to get work done.
My kit isn't some cheap eBay exhaust. It had everything included, gaskets, new bolts, etc. I wasn't sure what's considered "standard" in this industry, so no reason for me to bring up "issues" unless they actually were. I don't really care for Yelp. I don't use it. Sarcastic response for a sarcastic post.
That's why I'm trying to get info in here, and based on this thread, turns out they aren't issues and being charged more is normal because:

underscore: Care to explain the fail? I'm just trying to learn the ropes in dealing with private shops. I don't think I was going to get an invoice sheet breaking down the list of services. Technically, only one job was done.
