Welp it never made it that far, PC now won't boot at all. Now he's looking to fix/upgrade it, looking for suggestions from NCIX staying in the $6-700 total range.
Existing:
AMD Phenom II X4 955 (socket AM3)
Antec 600 case
600W PSU
8GB RAM (unsure on type, mobo was MSI MS-7599 if that helps)
Need suggestions for:
Motherboard that supports overclocking
CPU cooler (water could be nice if it can work with the case)
GPU
~120GB SSD
