Whole body has been repainted . Pretty good exterior wise . Interior is close to mint. Absolutely no history about the car was provided and the salesmen was an absolute d-bag. After the test drive he asked me why I had wasted his time with a test drive with no intent to purchase. I showed him the cash afterwards. They are also firm on the price. Don't forget to tack on their $350 bullshit doc fee. I also spent the money for a full car proof report . You can pm me if you wish to see it . Car is originally from Ontario , spent a little time in Washington then came back to canada. Brought my mechanic with me -
Some things he noticed -
Rear diff bushings clunking
A/c compressor extemley noisy
Power steering reservoir hoses and rack and pinion leaking
Shifter bushings worn
Engine oil leak
2nd -3rd grind during a few shifts
Alignment is off
Repair done to driver side rear quarter panel & rear of the car
Dakar yellow & hurricane interior is definitely rare and cool, but I'm happy I'm $9k richer. Just too many unknowns with this car. On to the next.

Those are some red flags.
I have no problem with rebuilt cars as long as they're properly fixed. This car sounds like it wasn't and the dealership is obviously putting up more red flags being shady.
I've bought and sold rebuilt cars. When selling I always show pictures of the damage to assure people that the car really wasn't in a huge wreck. They're welcome to inspect the work and do their checks.
