depending on when you arrive and then finally get to your hotel, half a day isn't shit all time to see anything in Paris. MAYBE one or two things (Arc de Triumph and the Eiffel Tower)
plan some time after the wedding to go see things (Louvre, Versailles, Musee D'Orsay, etc etc etc) so much to see
make friends with the metro maps, really easy way to get around town
