It's a good day to shoot. Or work on guns. I've been filling the calendar lately and having a good time. Some rain and an inside day would be good for the system.

Especially when new shit finds its way to your mailbox.
I like holstering at the range, but had a heck of a time finding a holster for my 1911 recon.

Enter the Israeli designed, recover cc3 grips and holster.

I also love the 10/22 rifle. It's cheap to shoot, relatively precise, and a lot of fun with a full mag and some steel down range. I have a dragonov clone already, but always wanted to build a short version.

I'm almost there.

I need to grab a short barrel for the folding Fab Defense stock, then a hundred round drum. Trigger mods are always in order. Maybe I'll do that today?

Then I can move the bull barrel receiver back to the dragonov stock along with the optic (thanks again zed!!)

I'm still not sure what kind of sights I will go with on the shortie. Maybe some battle sights?
