Out of curiosity, I posted my computer on Craigslist with a price of $1999 to see what I could get for it.
My system is about $1750 after taxes, so while $1999 is overpriced, I wasn't expecting anyone to pick it up.

I mean this pig has 8 GB ram, a small hard drive and you're charging $2000 for it? Oh wait you were hoping no one would notice with the $1999? Nice try! You're worse than Apple fan boys with their overselling of their macbook pros. Maybe you shouldn't have spent beyond your means for the computer. Anyway, I'll give you $500 for it and that is being really generous given how outdated the specs are on this machine. Even the macbook pro I am writing this on has 16 gb ram. And how many games are you supposed to store on a 250 gig harddrive. My mac pro has 512 gig SSD. Didn't know my pro was far better at gaming than your "top of the line" one.

I told him I'd take $1000 just to dick around with him, but he hasn't replied back.
