omg I felt the same about hawksworth -- at the time I thought it was okay. there were some things that I didn't like but overall thought it was good.

now I can't go back because comparing It back to back, it's downright bad. when I was in NY I also went to Daniel (boulud) which is 2*, and I didn't care for it. too old school. Got to talk to DB as well there (didn't have anything for him to sign though) but the entire atmosphere didn't sit well with me. Food was great though.
