Yeah, chances are the trio will try a different format. The Top Gear style is obviously a tried and tested format, but I have a feeling it might have been part of what was starting to make it feel old and tired. Don't get me wrong, I loved it right up to the end but part of me always wondered how the show would feel if they changed things up and switched things around. The general consensus is that Top Gear was at it's best when they were either doing a legit car review or one of their episode long challenges/road trips. TG:USA definitely got better when they switched to full feature challenges and dropped the clone attempt. I'd like to see something different come from Andy and co.

Oh, and drop the caricature act. Clarkson isn't mechanically inept, nor is he actually a giant hater of bikes, May can keep the pedantic persona but drop the jokes about him getting lost, and Hammond... now that I think about it, it feels that Hammond is actually probably the most genuine of the three. I just want to see three people who are obviously great friends have lots of fun while driving awesome (and cheap/shitty) cars.
