A wise uncle once said "trackdays is all about horsepower".
For the 2 seconds that you are focused in each turns, you also have a minute of long straights.
So if you have a lighter higher power car, it's easy to get the lap times down.
If you have a heavy boat, street tires, Mcstruts, and 60 hp, yeah you won't be close to 1:20.
