BURNABY (NEWS 1130) – Police are conducting a homicide investigation in Burnaby.
Mounties have confirmed a man was shot around 11:30 a.m. on Midlawn Drive near Fairlawn Drive, north of Brentwood Mall.
A neighbour says the victim lived in a basement suite. He came out of his home when a car drove up and fired 8-10 shots.
The area will be cordoned off for several hours and police are asking people to stay away.
