I've shot both the V2 ans the V1 and there isn't a big difference. But if you're going to make the big financial commitment that a Tavor demands, go for the freshest revision. You won't be let down.

hmm apparently current gen is V2.5.. I cant justify paying 3k for a stock one though lol. hoping there will be a sale somewhere by boxing day =P or might have to consider getting a used older gen
