RSV4 RR vs S1000RR ... that's my personal (dream) dilemma too!

There is something so intoxicating and exotic about the RSV4 .. historically I go for the "sexy" choice ... but my preference would probably be the safer choice here (S1000RR).

Safer = unsubstantiated assumptions about resale, reliability, service costs, accessibility of parts, etc.
