About 2 months ago I got into anccident with my Audi, the icbc adjusters decided they'd allow up to $7700 in work to be done to my car by the body shop,body shop gives them quotes $8200 in damage, and ICBC says they're writing off my car, I say fine, let me know when to pick up my cheque. Friday I get a call saying they're only going to give me $5000 for my car, minus the $500 deductible. Am I crazy, but shouldn't they be giving me the value of my car? which is closer to $9500

I'm not sure what I should be doing at this point, if I should fight it, and if I should how I would go about it?
