As for coil size, I prefer 2.5mm to 3mm diameters depending on kanthal gauge. The gauge, resistance and wattage all depend on what kind of vape you like. For creamy/custard flavours I like a hot/warm dense vape. For fruit/sweet flavours I prefer a cool/light vape. So wattages would be 60-80w for the former and 20-40w for the latter.

What he said. You can get a whole set of mini screwdrivers in different sizes from the dollar store.
To add, it also depends on how much wattage you're pushing too. Nice thing about the evic vtc mini is that it has "bypass mode", which bypasses the whole regulation system and just fires like a single 18650 tube mod (which ranges from 30-70w depending on battery and battery life). At that wattage, I'd probably do 26 gauge with a smaller diameter. 2mm or 2.5mm is a good place to start
