^ Yeah they did a really great job of making it look like LA. It helped that they were shooting during the hottest days this summer, so everything was dried out like California. But the neighbourhoods they shot in looked a lot like LA too. And the ability to change the deep BG to look like LA helps; that aspect of CGI has really improved in recent years.
