I'd go with some kind of waist pack. Things will bounce a little, but if you keep the belt tight then it should be tolerable. Plus you could put it under your shirt if security is a concern.
I run home from work daily with a Dakine backpack and I'm quite used to it, but a pack would be overkill for what you are carrying.
