For high global demand products like Japanese whiskies and single malts, you will see more and more suppliers going away from aged statements products to non aged statements products. Note, when a product has a 12 year aged statement, the liquid inside is probably 13-18yrs old. The rule is that when you have an age statement, no liquid can be younger than the age statement. 15 year ago, the vodka trend was on fire and no one could have forecasted the boom in whiskies today.....
