He looks so "average" (mole, asymmetric face)...and his facial expression seems so "clueless"...not what I'd expect for a badass villian.
(The first half of the movie kinda makes him out to be some super strong, badass rutless sith lord, stopping lasers and killing villagers)

And his character just keeps getting more disappointing when a janitor stormtropper manage to wound him in a lightsaber duel, and he lost to some untrained girl using the lightsaber for the first time.

IMO I think JJ/Disney intended his character to be like that - first impression he's badass, he's a tough Mofo. But he's a developing character. He's not a fully trained Sith. He doesn't have the Darth title. Snoke says bring him to me at the end to complete his training. We will see a completely diff Kylo from ep 7 to 9. Same goes for Rey - we don't really know her backstory. She has Force ability obviously and perhaps previous training which hopefully we will get more clues later on. IMO I thought Adam Driver did a great job and the Kylo Ren character is very intriguing- there's so many possibilities.
