Base R still comes with Nav 6.5" screen, tech pack comes with 8" nav screen. Not that it matters, even a loaded DSG car still costs less than the RS.
You said a comparably equipped Golf R costs more than the RS which is incorrect. Go buy an RS if you want a one I don't care lol maybe you prefer how the RS looks or you feel you really need that extra 60hp on the street etc.
