This weekend really... working on the NSX interior as I expect most of the BNIB OEM parts to arrive in the coming weeks.

New door panels were extremely cost prohibitive (I'm ridding the NSX of the tan interior), decided to make the most of the stock Tan/Black units before I spend the outrageous amount of money...

No idea why this pic won't rotate, PB album shows correct orientation, whatever lol

NSX interior trim pieces have a nickel plating with paint on top, it's quite nice, but there is NO easy way to remove the nickel plating (you could use acid.. but your plastic parts will melt). The only way is to painstakingly remove the plating with a razor blade.. I have about 12 hours in and 75% complete all the pieces at best.. my fingers are a massacre, I have dozens of small cuts from the razor blades and plating fragments.

Tried to have my body guy prep the trim and he basically told me I couldn't pay him enough money to do it hahaha FML worst "small" job ever.

If you're curios about the black panel paint, it's SEM color coat using the SEM vynil prep, the shit works wonder and is super durable, equivalent to OEM in terms of look, feel, and overall quality assuming you prep correctly.
