I wasn't at first a fan of the 2013+ faring kit for the CBR600RR. I much preferred the 2007 - 2012 variations. I'm actually surprised that the underlying architecture between the two generations is similar enough that they can "share clothing."
I have to say the 2013+ design is growing on me.
I swapped the fairing kit from the 2009 - 2012 Daytona 675 onto a 2006 - 2008 generation. Naturally, it required a pretty exhaustive list of parts, including headlights, etc., but the good news for me was that I was able to retain the tank
and and they retained the colour of my bike.
